Description

Adteractive is looking for a part-time intern to assist in implementing SEO (search engine optimization) strategy to a number of education websites. Individuals with an interest or background in online marketing are encouraged to apply. The candidate will have a unique opportunity to learn about search marketing and gain hands-on experience in SEO work.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Write informative, keyword-rich content that targets users interested in pursuing higher education (various topics related to education and career paths).
• Update and optimize existing content on multiple websites using best SEO strategies.
• Identify schools and degree programs to list on relevant content pages across sites.
• Create and update HTML links.
• Update web pages as necessary to enhance look and feel of site.
• Additional responsibilities assigned by product managers.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong critical thinking and written communication skills.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Fast and enthusiastic learner.
• Self-motivated, independent worker.
• HTML knowledge, primarily with text formatting, link building, and image tags.
• Dreamweaver experience desirable.
• Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week.
